2000 Future Bee Power League UL box break (pack 6)

From pack #6, we find only two players who are still active this season, Hiroshima's Akihiro Higashide and Naoyuki Shimizu, who is now pitching with the Yokohama BayStars.

2000 Epoch Pro Baseball box break (pack 12)

And we can't forget 200-game winner Masa Yamamoto! He is another who spent some time, early in his baseball career, in the minor leagues in the US, for some additional seasoning. Here he is as an All-Star in the Florida State League in 1988.

Interesting how he never really had to change his look as the Chunichi Dragons uniform is the exact same style as the Dodgers.

Doubles: Wada, Takagi, Shimizu, Matoba, Iwamura.

12 packs in, 120 total cards and half this pack was doubles. Disappointingly, so far, all the inserts have been the puzzle pieces and not a single one of the sparkly inserts. Hopefully that changes before I finish the box.
